Lindsay Dee Lohan was born on July 2, 1986. At an early age of three, Lohan started her showbiz career as a child fashion model with companies such as Ford, Toys “R” Us, Calvin Klein Kids and Abercrombie Kids. Through her childhood, Lindsay Lohan was featured in various magazines, including Elle, Vogue, UK’s Bliss, Japan’s Blenda and Bulgaria’s High Club.

Lindsay Lohan’s first few auditions for the small screen were not as successful. She won the part for commercials like Duncan Hines, Jell-O and over 60 television commercials. Due to her advertisement success, Lindsay Lohan received offers for soap opera roles. In 1996, she won a role as Alexandra Fowler on “Another World”. However, it was on 1998 that Lohan received her biggest break when Nancy Meyers cast her to play dual roles as twins in the “Parent Trap”. The film grossed a whopping $92 million worldwide, which led to Lohan’s future stardom.

Lindsay Lohan signed with Disney to a 3-film contract. She also starred in two TV movies 2000 “Life-Size” and 2002 “Get a Clue”. In 2003, Lohan received her biggest financial success in film during the release of “Freaky Friday”, which earned $160 million worldwide.

In 2004, Lindsay Lohan accepted the lead star in two films – “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen” and “Mean Girls”. Although the first movie grossed a modest amount, it received negative reviews. Fortunately, Lindsay Lohan quickly redeemed herself in her first non-Disney film, “Mean Girls” that reached a gross of $128 million worldwide.

In 2005, Lindsay Lohan returned to her roots and starred in a Disney film, “Herbie: Fully Loaded”. Due to her continuous movie success, Lohan was able to choose from a wider choice of films. At age 19, she chose to work with Disney to establish herself into grown-up roles, which was out of high school. Other films credited to her include the 2006 films “Just My Luck” and “A Prairie Home Companion”, the 2005 film “Bobby”, “Chapter 27” and 2007 films “Georgia Rule” and “I Know Who Killed Me”.
